We took the kids to Micky's Amazing Adventure, by Dsiney on Ice on Friday. It has been an annual outing for Tianna and I for a few years now, but this was the first time that Kye has came as well. And he really enjoyed it. He clapped enthusistically after each scene and pointed and named each new character as they came out. Here's some highlights.

Tianna has been taking dance lessons since the beginning of the year. On Saturday, she had her first concert in honour of Mothers Day. It was just adorable. It seems that the festive season is upon us again. It has become a tradition in our house that we all put the tree and Christmas decorateions up together as a family on the 1st of December. Yesterday was our Term 4 outing for playgroup. We hired out the diesel train at Richmond Vale Railway Museum for a private ride and took all 25 of the kids from our playgroup on a 45 minute train ride - we had a few ringing in...... fathers, grandparents etc. Since Poppy was rostered off, we took him with us. Well, officially its a natural disaster area, but we like to call it home. We went for a drive this morning to have a sticky beak at the river. Its due to reach its peak of 35ft at 3am. I try to plan little crafty activities to do with the kids, so when Daddy helped us do the groceries and threw a packet mix for gingerbread men in the trolley I thought it might be a fun one to do with Tianna while Kye had his morning nap. So we had heaps of fun making them, Tianna helped in every step, she stirred, rolled, cut and decorated. When Kye woke up he had just as much fun eating them.

Well we've had a very good week, and Mummy is proud of everyone today. Tianna's achievement of the week: she is now nappy free during the day. He bites!! Look what Kye did to poor Tianna's cheek. This bruise is 5 days old, so its much better than what it was. He does it in excitement, when he's playing. Yesterday, Amy and I took Tianna to see Disney on Ice. It was fantastic, Tia loved it and had a ball. She's been working up to it ever since the ads started appearing on TV and in the paper. We had really good seats, about 1/2 a dozen rows back from the rink. I just got back my first assignment. Good news is I passed, bad news is its only a Credit. Had to share the news though. What I'm so excited about is that with this grade and my two 100% quizzes I've passed the course, sitting on 60% so an marks from here on in will just add to that. Its official, he can now bite me!! Kye cut his first tooth on Tuesday. The top left, which surprised me as I thought the bottom ones came first. Poor boy had been grumpy for a few days, when I finally thought to look in his mouth it was too late it was already through. So there'd better be a stop to the biting down and pulling on my nipples or else that'll be the end of breast feeding for him!!

He's crawling!! In his own bizarre way. He gets up on all fours, moves one knee forward at a time, belly flops, then hops up again. And continues along that one all the way from one end of the room to the other.
